“I came in for an evening with my dog for a family members wedding. Mike was very friendly and responsive at my time. It’s a very beautiful piece of property. Additionally the rental area has everything you would need. You can tell that the effort is put in to be as helpful and accommodating for the stay. “The property is very cozy, quiet, and comfortable! All the details were well thought out and I appreciated the informative labels, such as on the AC. Stayed in the queen bed which was super comfortable as well. Only suggestion would be to add directions on how to find it. I came in after dark and had a difficult time figuring out where it was after Google maps incorrectly sent me to an apartment building nearby. “We enjoyed the quiet during off- season in the cozy cabin. Loved sitting on the enclosed front porch. Located close to Fort Harrod and Shaker Village which were both enjoyable visits.”

“Quiet, remote, peaceful property. Pictures don't do it justice. Spacious for a couple that wants to relax and reconnect. Owners are responsive and very friendly. If you need cell service and a town within 5 minutes, this isn't for you. BUT, if you want a remote location with friendly farm animals close by this is a dream come true. The silo outdoor seating area is a perfect place to reconnect with nature.”

“We had a great stay, and the owners were fantastic. Plenty of sleeping arrangements for 4 people, and everything worked properly. You can enjoy a nice walk down the property to the lake or grab some wood for a fire. Great listing for a nice little getaway. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Wonderful stay! Property and amenities as stated. Owner quick to respond. Away from but close enough to everything we wanted to do including distilleries. Bardstown is a quant little town. Ate at Pats Place for Breakfast. Played corn hole for hours. Had a wonderful time and experience. Would definitely stay again. ”

“A true historic gem in a beautiful area of Kentucky! The cottage is spacious, well appointed, and was immaculately clean on our arrival. We stayed five nights and enjoyed the property immensely. But what the website cannot convey is the sheer sense of history you experience by staying in this wonderful place.
